Douglas Snelling Chair

This Original Douglas Snelling Chair was a part of the ‘Snelling Line’ and is an Australian Design Classic. It was one of the first popular, mass produced ranges of furniture. Manufactured and sold in Australia from the late 1940s.

This is the last remaining Douglas Snelling Chair from my personal collection. It’s been a part of my collection for over 25 years but it’s never really found it’s perfect resting place. So now it’s time to pass it onto someone else to enjoy.

The original black webbing is slightly faded but overall it’s in excellent vintage condition.

The chair has recently been professionally dismantled and re glued to fix some slight movement in one of the joints.
