Terms & Conditions

This website is owned and operated by 20th Century Vintage. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to 20th Century Vintage.

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.  If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then please don’t use this website.

 

Orders & Payment

When you place an order online you are agreeing to purchase the item described on our website at the set price.

All prices shown on the website are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Credit and Debit Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Afterpay. Afterpay and PayPal are third party organisations. For more information about both these services you should visit their websites.

The charges for all transactions are only debited from your account once the Checkout process is complete.

If for any reason you do not feel safe entering your information on our site, please feel free to email me at marisa@20thcenturyvintage.com.au or call on 0407 907 734 to arrange a Bank Deposit or Cash Payment.

All orders placed through the website are subject to confirmation and acceptance by 20th Century Vintage.

 

Local Pick-Up

If you’ve chosen Local Pick-Up at check out we’ll be in touch within the next 24 hours (via email or text message) to schedule an appointment for you to pick up your item.

You can collect your order from Inglewood or Bassendean depending on the location of the item.

An appointment for pick-up must be made within 48 hours of purchasing an item. If no appointment has been made within that time frame then the item will be relisted for sale. There will be no returns or refunds. 

Items must be collected within 7 days of purchase, unless otherwise arranged as we’re not in a position to provide a storage service for your items. If no appointment has been made within that time frame then the item will be relisted for sale. There will be no returns or refunds. 

At time of pick-up please bring along your confirmation of purchase, and Photo ID.

If someone else is going to collect for you, then please let us know in advance.

For larger and heavier items please make sure you have assistance with lifting and moving your item. 20th Century Vintage doesn’t take any responsibility for any damage to your item when making your own Local Pick-Up. We also recommend that you bring  blankets and straps to secure the load in transit. Also don’t forget to measure your vehicle to ensure the items will fit, so that you don’t have a wasted trip!

 

Local Delivery

If you’ve chosen Local Delivery at check out, we’ll be in touch within the next 24 hours (via email or text message) to arrange delivery. You will be provided with a delivery date and typically a 2 hour window to help you plan your day accordingly. Please note that deliveries are usually carried out by a single driver, so please have someone available to assist with unloading for larger items. Delivery is to street level only, no stairs.

If you do have any special requirements, such as a two-person delivery, or help upstairs to another floor, then please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make special arrangements (please note that extra assistance may require a surcharge).

I’m happy to work with a courier of your choice or find the right carrier to ensure prompt and safe delivery.

Returns & Refunds

All sales are final and we do not accept returns due to change of mind so please choose carefully.

Items are purchased in ‘as is’ condition. Any faults or imperfections will be described in the product details.

Please take time to read the description and ensure you are happy with the item before committing to a purchase. Further information or photos can be provided if needed so please get in touch. 

Buyers are always welcome to view the item prior to purchasing.

Please make sure that the item you’ve ordered will fit through access points and into the space intended. We won’t refund nor have items returned because they don’t fit.

Buyers have 24 hours from receiving the item to advise 20th Century Vintage of any defect or other concern they have with the condition of the item. 

We will issue a refund or credit if the item is deemed faulty (after assessment) by both parties.

Any authorized refunds are reversed onto the original form of payment i.e. PayPal account or credit card used.
