Mid Century Bentwood Dining Chairs. Set of Six

Timeless set of 6 mid century bentwood dining chairs. Stamped Made in Czechoslovakia. Drevounia. Dating from the mid 1960s to the early 1970s.

Crafted from solid european beech using traditional steam bending techniques. The looping armrests are formed from a single sweeping piece of timber, giving these chairs their elegant proportions while remaining very lightweight.

The timber does show some signs of wear but they have been cleaned and waxed, preserving their vintage pantina. The seats and backrests have been reupholstered in a quality Warwick fabric.

These are a classic european design that work effortlessly in both mid century and contemporary interiors.
